RIDGEWOOD, NJ – The Woman’s Club of Ridgewood will hold its Holiday House Tour on Thursday, November 30th from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The tour, which is a charity event, will feature unique homes located in Ridgewood and the surrounding communities, dressed up for the winter holidays.

The House Tour is the largest fundraiser hosted by the Woman’s Club of Ridgewood, a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the community. The House Tour typically draws 400 – 800 attendees, and raises funds for charities serving women and children. Last year the Club awarded grants to 18 local charities including the Social Service Association of Ridgewood, SHARE, Camp Sunshine, Emmanuel Cancer Foundation, Sharing the Arts, and the YMCA Rainbows Program. This year’s Tour is sponsored by Janis Fuhrman of Terrie O’Connor Realtors.

House Tour tickets are $40 and can be purchased on the club’s website, Tickets may also be purchased at these locations on or after November 1st: The Woman’s Clubhouse, Mango Jam, Town & Country Apothecary, Backyard Living and Goffle Brook Farm. The Woman’s Club of Ridgewood annual Charity Luncheon was held on Wednesday, April 19th. At the Luncheon, Charity Selection Chairs Kristen Plumley and Samantha Bajraktari presented $25,000 to 16 charities in Bergen County that support primarily women and children.

The Woman’s Club of Ridgewood Annual  Charity Luncheon 

Please join the Woman’s Club of Ridgewood for our annual Charity Luncheon on Wednesday, April 19th at 12 noon.  We will present grant checks to 16 local charities that benefit women and children. Representatives from these charities will be in attendance, as well as local residents and business owners who helped the club with this year’s fundraisers.  Lunch is $25 for members, $30 for non-members.  Please RSVP by April 14th to 201-444-5705.  The Woman’s Clubhouse is located at 215 W. Ridgewood Avenue.


On February 14, 2017 The Woman’s Club of Ridgewood continued our tradition providing a Valentine’s Day Dinner and party of 26 women and 21 children at Center for Hope and Safety of Bergen County, a shelter for victims of domestic violence. Members of the Club donated home cooked food, gifts, art packs, funds, and flowers (from Goffle Brook Farm from the Club’s own Donna Dorsey). Community Service Chair Elizabeth, along with Mary, Sam, and Andrea delivered and set up the dinner and party at the shelter.

December 9, 2016    The annual holiday concert and luncheon was held on December 9th, attended by over 100 guests from Ridgewood and nearby town. Woman’s Club’s own Kristen Plumley and friends: Beverly O’Reagan Thiele (Soprano), Patty Lazzara (Flute),  Jennifer Green (Cello), and Michael Caldwell (Piano), gave a wonderous performance of holiday songs and music pieces, while raising funds for Sharing the Arts, and collected holiday gift wrap for Social Services Association of Ridgewood. Club Day chair Jean Reda again shared her talent and put together a great Luncheon of festive food and decorations.

October 1, 2016    A review of the venue at the Woman’s Club by a recent guest:

Tom and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary at the Ridgewood Woman’s Club.  I have received wonderful comments from our guests, full of praise for the beautiful room.  The venue was absolutely gorgeous.  We will definitely rent again, because we cannot think of any where else we would like to be.

December 9, 2015   The Woman’s Club of Ridgewood held its annual holiday luncheon and concert by Kristen Plumley, Patty Lazzara, and Michael Caldwell. Gift wraps were collected for local charity and raffle was held with proceeds of ticket sale goes to Scholarship Tust benefiting students of Ridgewood High School going on to higher education.

December 2, 2015  The last Board Meeting of the calendar year was held at the Woman’s Club. Maintenance of the Club House, a historical building, was discussed among other topics at the meeting. A recent study has shown the outstanding needed repair cost is estimated to be over $200,000. A Club Maintenance Fund was established earlier this year.

November 13, 2015   The Woman’s Club of Ridgewood held our annual Charity Luncheon at the Club House. The Thanksgiving themed Luncheon, hosted by Club President Theresa Gregorio and Charity Selection Chairs, Kristen Plumley and Samantha Bajraktari, recognizes and awards funds raised by the Club to local charities.
