The Woman’s Club of Ridgewood will host a holiday lunch and concert featuring soprano Kristen Plumley and friends on Wednesday, December 13th at 12:45 pm at the clubhouse, 215 W. Ridgewood Avenue.  The lunch and concert are open to the public.  Lunch is served at 12:00 pm and is $20 for club members, $25 for non-members.  Come for dessert and concert only at 12:30, and the cost is $10.  The concert will begin at 12:45 pm.  You must RSVP for lunch by calling the Woman’s Club at 201-444-5705 by December 8th.  No need to RSVP for dessert only.  Pay at the door.

RIDGEWOOD, NJ – The Woman’s Club of Ridgewood will hold its Holiday House Tour on Thursday, November 30th from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The tour, which is a charity event, will feature unique homes located in Ridgewood and the surrounding communities, dressed up for the winter holidays.

The House Tour is the largest fundraiser hosted by the Woman’s Club of Ridgewood, a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the community. The House Tour typically draws 400 – 800 attendees, and raises funds for charities serving women and children. Last year the Club awarded grants to 18 local charities including the Social Service Association of Ridgewood, SHARE, Camp Sunshine, Emmanuel Cancer Foundation, Sharing the Arts, and the YMCA Rainbows Program. This year’s Tour is sponsored by Janis Fuhrman of Terrie O’Connor Realtors.

House Tour tickets are $40 and can be purchased on the club’s website, Tickets may also be purchased at these locations on or after November 1st: The Woman’s Clubhouse, Mango Jam, Town & Country Apothecary, Backyard Living and Goffle Brook Farm. The Woman’s Club of Ridgewood annual Charity Luncheon was held on Wednesday, April 19th. At the Luncheon, Charity Selection Chairs Kristen Plumley and Samantha Bajraktari presented $25,000 to 16 charities in Bergen County that support primarily women and children.

The Woman’s Club of Ridgewood Annual  Charity Luncheon 

Please join the Woman’s Club of Ridgewood for our annual Charity Luncheon on Wednesday, April 19th at 12 noon.  We will present grant checks to 16 local charities that benefit women and children. On February 14, 2017 The Woman’s Club of Ridgewood continued our tradition providing a Valentine’s Day Dinner and party of 26 women and 21 children at Center for Hope and Safety of Bergen County, a shelter for victims of domestic violence. Members of the Club donated home cooked food, gifts, art packs, funds, and flowers (from Goffle Brook Farm from the Club’s own Donna Dorsey). Community Service Chair Elizabeth, along with Mary, Sam, and Andrea delivered and set up the dinner and party at the shelter.
